An Iranian spy drone was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force over Panjgur, Pakistan, nearly 45km inside Pakistan territory, according to foreign media.
The incident is first of its kind in the history of two nations, which share a 900 km border.
The reports emerged Tuesday suggested that the drone was 46miles inside Pakistan territory in Balochistan's Panjgoor area. "Unprecedented. New front opening?"
Iranian forces earlier fired mortar shells in Panjgur and Chaghai districts of Balochistan province, claiming life of a Pakistani civilian. No causality has been reported.
Meanwhile on early Tuesday, another armed Iranian drone was shot down in southern Syria by US F-15 jet.

Iran has expressed concern over militants operating along the Pakistani border and warned that the country was willing to strike militants inside Pakistan remarks that drew strong protests from Islamabad.
