So, if you don't already have an Apple Music membership, you'll have to subscribe to one of those tiers first before switching to the yearly plan. This means that you can get a year worth of Apple Music straight from your device without having to buy an Apple Music gift card at all.
Apparently, Apple added an annual Apple Music subscription plan months ago for $99.
Apple Music subscribers can now opt for the $9.99 per month subscription package or the $14.99 per month family plan.

First, you need to open the App Store app and scroll to the very bottom of the Featured tab. Strangely, it appears the option is only available after you've signed up for a $9.99/month subscription. From there, tap the Subscriptions option and choose Apple Music. Simply tap that option to switch your account. Finally, tap on the Subscriptions button and you can access your Apple Music membership settings. Now, you can simply make the switch right from your iOS device.
However, as TechCrunch is pointing out, Apple isn't exactly shouting from the rooftops about this new payment option.
