After the SCO membership, Pakistan will be capable of getting regional cooperation to end terrorism an extremism.
Congratulating India for becoming member of SCO, Sharif said that South Asia became a part of SCO and this would help to fight poverty in the region.
In its first-ever expansion, the SCO will grant permanent membership to both India and Pakistan.

At the annual SCO Summit in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, Xi also encouraged the member countries to join efforts to meet the challenges, build bridges between peoples and maintain openness and inclusiveness.
