Although the weather in Washington looks headed toward a near-flawless summer night, an obvious and immovable shadow is being cast over Thursday night's Congressional Baseball Game - a tradition that began more than a century ago. Mrs. Hodgkinson said her husband sold nearly everything from his businesses before he moved to the east coast. "I talked to a lot of people throughout yesterday who went to school with him and said everything was he was always just a normal guy, kind of quiet. I can't wrap my head around it", Hodgkinson said. "I don't deserve this, my daughters don't deserve this". Suzanne Hodgkinson said she did not consider it odd that he left so abruptly, and maybe her husband just wanted a break.
She said her husband sold nearly all of his possessions before leaving their Belleville home early this year, shortly after their daughter and her 2-year-old son came home.
Sue Hodgkinson, who works at a tax firm, said she and James didn't see much of each other from January to March because of her job. He had run out of money, his wife told reporters.
The hospital said earlier in the week that he had undergone surgery for internal injuries and a broken leg. Crystal and David have been family to us for years, and we ask that you continue to pray for their full recovery.
