His hard-line comments come amidst a diplomatic offensive involving German, French, and EU officials to force Theresa May to rethink her intentions to leave the Single Market and the bloc's Customs Union.

This latest accident comes only weeks after Richard revealed his days of unsafe stunts are behind him, for the sake of his family. Co-host Jeremy Clarkson tweeted it was the "most frightening" accident he had ever seen but Hammond seemed to be "mostly OK".
