US Senate's Iran sanctions are breach of nuclear deal: senior Iranian official

Sen. Bernie Sanders slammed the Senate's decision on Thursday to impose new sanctions on Iran, saying that the move could put the 2015 nuclear deal at risk.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has defended the country's "completely legitimate" missile defense program, emphasizing that nothing can prevent the Islamic Republic from exercising its right to defense. He added the allegations of Iran's support for terrorism is "farcical" and "shameful".
