Four-star wide receiver Braden Lenzy de-committed from Notre Dame on Wednesday afternoon, flipping to his home-state program of Oregon.
Lenzy, the No. 7 athlete in the country and No. 3 recruit in the state of OR, originally committed to the Fighting Irish back on February 22. Gervin completely reopened his recruitment, however, while Lenzy has abruptly committed to Oregon. Braden announced his decision today on Twitter.
Notre Dame is still in pretty good shape in the future at wide receiver, and even though Lenzy has elite speed, his hands have been a questionable skill.
"First I would like to thank the Notre Dame staff, players, commits, and fans for all the love and support they have shown me", Lenzy said in a tweet. Lenzy, an OR native, had been committed to Notre Dame since February.

With his commitment, Lenzy becomes the second in state resident to commit to the Ducks and the twelfth commitment for the class of 2018. It was a very hard decision, but one that was best for me.
"I just knew from when I stepped on campus this time that Notre Dame was where I should end up", Takacs told 247 Sports.
