Chuck Schumer trolls Trump's cabinet meeting with parody video

One by one, Trump's Cabinet members assembled around the table spoke effusively about the president as he sat beaming, soaking it all in at the first formal gathering of his most senior officials at the White House on Monday.

Vice President Mike Pence was the first to speak: "This is the greatest privilege of my life is to serve as vice president to a president who's keeping his word to the American people".

"We have much great news to share with the American people today, as we continue to deliver on our promises", Mr Trump said in his opening remarks. Tom Price of Health and Human Services too was honoured to serve under Trump's leadership.

In response, the top Democrat in Washington, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, assembled his own meeting full of staff praise - essentially just to troll the president.

Still, the political cognoscenti is rarely in the mood to give Trump the benefit of the doubt on anything like this - particularly after fired FBI Director James Comey's testimony that Trump wanted "loyalty" from him. "People know what the United States is for".

But that was the tone of the cabinet meeting.

Verizon takes over Yahoo in US$4.5 billion deal
In a blog post she said: "It's been my great honour and privilege to be a part of this team for the last 5 years". Oath , a subsidiary of Verizon , is a values-led company committed to building brands people love.

Cabinet members were "absolutely not" instructed in advance of the Monday gathering to heap praise on the President, Shulkin said on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront".

Trump has yet to sign any major legislation, and his White House has been buffeted by legal and ethical questions surrounding the investigation into his campaign's possible links to Russian Federation and his firing of the FBI director who had been leading that inquiry.

It simply shows Trump's pathetic narcissistic need to be praised at every turn, and that he has chosen the right supplicants to bow to his every need. "Your tone was ideal", she says, "You were right on-message". "But we are coming up with something that I believe will be very, very good with zero support from the obstructionists", he said. "We will start with Mike (Vice-President) and then we will just go around, your name, your position", Trump instructed. They know what we are against.

Donald Trump began the cabinet meeting with self-appraisal, painting a rosy image of the government's achievements, and then things went freakish.

But the true tribute and most freakish moment came from "The most likely to be beaten by Trump with a baseball bat", chief of staff Reince Priebus, whose job is hanging on by an angel's eyelash. "Just tell me whether you think FDR could've done any better".
