7 things we learned from Newcastle's Premier League fixtures

Some games will be moved from their current times once televised fixtures have been decided, but that won't be for some time for most.

In the remainder of the opening round of games, Arsenal are at home to Leicester City, Everton play Stoke in Goodison Park and Manchester United welcome West Ham to Old Trafford. Pochettino is still yet to lose a North London derby and Spurs' 2-0 win over Arsenal in April, in their last-ever meeting at White Hart Lane, confirmed Tottenham's first finish above their neighbours since 1994-95.

Of course, United could only manage miserable home draws against most of that lot last season.

At home, the most obvious fixture we would want to start off with is West Brom.

Premier League champion Chelsea will be the first visitor to Tottenham's temporary home of Wembley Stadium as part of a tough-looking start to its title defense.

Shots Fired at Congress Members in Virginia
Ron DeSantis , the gunman asked him and others whether the people on the field were "Republicans or Democrats out there". WJLA reports that two capitol police officers, a lobbyist, and congressional staffer were also wounded in the shooting.

The big games continue with Liverpool hosting Arsenal the following weekend, before Jurgen Klopp's men travel to Manchester City. The 2017/18 domestic calendar does him few favours, with just one of Arsenal's six Europa League ties followed by a Premier League home game.

Although their campaign opens with a home clash against Leicester, continental commitments for the Gunners mean Arsene Wenger's side will have to work extra hard if they want to return to the top four. The final game of the season will be away to Tottenham Hotspur, 3rd and 2nd place finishers the last two years.

Huddersfield are 4/5 favourites for the drop with Brighton and Burnley favoured to join them at 6/5 and 5/4 respectively.

With both Brighton and Huddersfield favoured to be mired in a relegation battle they both face daunting run-ins at the end of the season. We've played Newcastle 5 times at St James' Park, winning 3 and losing one, but they're a newly promoted side so we'd probably prefer to wait before travelling there.
