Warriors beat Cavaliers to win NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers dug themselves a hole in the NBA Finals by dropping the first three games of the series to the Golden State Warriors before staying alive with a decisive 137-116 Game 4 win Friday.

Durant joined an already star-studded Warriors roster in the offseason after Golden State failed to close out Cleveland.

"We'll just come and play our game, continue to build on what we've been doing since Day 1 of training camp".

Once again, James is carrying a superhuman load to try and keep the Cavs afloat against a vastly superior Warriors team.

Much of the work on that will fall to Cavs guard Kyrie Irving. He said he's not happy Kevin Durant won his first championship, but added it's something no one can take away from you.

Curry's play in last year's playoffs became a hot topic of debate, both during them and long after they were completed. His shot (1-for-9) was just not falling that night. We did a good job of that.

Midway through the second quarter, those dynamics changed - the Warriors went on what ultimately was a 28-7 run that had them up double digits and in control of the game.

Cleveland has now lost two of the three showdowns in this Finals trilogy. "I left everything I had out on the floor every single game for five games in this Finals, and you come up short".

Trump willing to testify 'under oath' to discount Comey's loyalty claim
Comey was careful not to make any definitive statements during his testimony regarding Trump and the law. Clinton was tried in the Senate "for matters less serious than the ones before us now", Inglis said.

Cleveland is unbeaten in its past three Game 5 appearances, including a 112-97 win in last year's NBA Finals Game 5, avoiding elimination while pegged as 5.5-point road underdogs and spurring a comeback that ended with a championship victory on the road in Game 7.

"Our key is to limit certain guys", James said. "It's great for us to lock back in, come out with that same focus we came out with earlier in the series". "And it's been very tough on him in this Finals so far". Durant wants his teammates to play Warriors basketball and not get overawed by the stage. "If they make tough threes over us when can nearly live with those instead of the stare down, rhythm - you can make a sandwich before someone can out there and you knock it down".

Bringing defensive help against Curry leaves someone else open for a pass and scoring opportunity, Durant warned.

"If we don't protect the 3-point line and if we turn the ball over, then we don't stand a chance", the four-time league MVP said. No Bay Area-based professional sports team has won a title at home since the Oakland Athletics captured the 1974 World Series championship.

Lue says the Cavaliers have few options. "We're planning on playing a lot better tomorrow, and we'll see what happens". No one will question their heart or effort if they play hard and lose.

"I mean, they're coming right after us, so we have to go after them".

Curry would love to celebrate the title in front of home supporters by winning Monday.

"Obviously it wasn't his night", Kerr said.
