In an interview Monday on Fox News' "Fox & Friends", Ivanka Trump says political life still surprises her and that "there is a level of viciousness I was not expecting".
But Trump has also hinted the tapes might not exist, saying the media would be "very disappointed" to find out the answer.
The agency made the disclosure in response to a freedom of information request by The Wall Street Journal.

"I think the president made it clear on Friday that he would get back as soon as possible on this", Spicer said.
Spicer refused to engage reporters who asked why the president won't give a clear-cut answer on the potential recordings.
The claim came in response to reports, since confirmed, that Comey himself had kept detailed notes on those discussions in which, he alleges, Trump demanded a pledge of loyalty and pressed the then-FBI director to pull off on an investigation into Trump's former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
