First lady Melania Trump, son Barron officially move into White House

Donald Trump Jr. on Saturday seemed to back up former FBI Director James Comey's claim that President Donald Trump asked him to drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

'Well, I didn't say that.

"No collusion. No obstruction", Trump said Friday. "Yesterday showed no collusion, no obstruction", Mr Trump said.

Trump also denied asking Comey for a pledge of loyalty.

Trump again refused to say if there are tapes of his conversations at the White House.

Pozen wrote about how government officials both "condone and condemn" leaks - including classified leaks - and how they find the press a necessary and useful part of officialdom. First, he volunteered that he had, before his firing, turned over the notes of his meeting with Trump to a friend to be leaked to the New York Times for publication.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer of NY also called on Trump to release any tapes, and also invited the president to testify under oath before the Senate, as he offered to do.

"When he tells you to do something, guess what?"

A trio of Trump "formers" have always been on the radar of Hill investigators, but interest has lagged somewhat as more prominent figures like Kushner and Sessions have risen.

Asked if he would repeat his claims about Comey under oath, Trump said: "100%". Richard Burr, the Republican chairman of the Senate intelligence committee, and Sen.

"My thinking was if I write in such a way that I don't include anything that'll trigger a classification, that will make it easier to discuss within Federal Bureau of Investigation and government", he said. Per Comey's testimony, it was a complete fantasy.

The Warriors went more than six minutes in the first with Draymond Green at center - their best lineups - and were just +2. Golden State had an opportunity to become the first team to sweep through the playoffs with a flawless 16-0 record.

Yet President Barack Obama's administration did not want to publicize those intrusions, choosing to handle them diplomatically - perhaps because at the time they looked more like classic espionage than an effort to manipulate American politics. Comey also testified that he asked his friend to give the information to the press. Trump is moving aggressively to defend himself in the aftermath of James Comey's testimony to the Senate.

Comey also referred to many other media stories pushing the false narrative as "dead wrong".

Comey told a Senate committee Thursday that he believes Trump fired him over the Russian Federation probe, and he accused the White House of lying about the details of the dismissal.

Comey said he had hoped releasing the information via the media would prompt the appointment of a special counsel to handle the Russian Federation probe, a ploy that ultimately proved successful.

Comey said he leaked information partly in response to a Trump tweet in which the president appeared to threaten him and suggested there might be tapes of their conversations. Does Trump have the "tapes" he tweeted about against Comey, which Comey was hoping Trump would be issued a subpoena for?

Republican Senator Susan Collins called on Sunday for Trump to "voluntarily turn them over" to the Senate Intelligence Committee and to the special counsel, Robert Mueller, investigating possible collusion between Trump aides and Russian Federation. Comey said he refused on all points, told senators of the detailed memos he had written after his conversations with Trump and said he hoped those conversations were taped because he is confident of their veracity.

She added: "The president's fitness for office is something that has been called into question". In short, to put it colloquially, he can plead: "I'm a moron when it comes to Washington norms of behavior - and proud of it". Between May 9 and May 16 Trump and his gang were all over the map when trying to explain why he sacked Comey.

Secondly, Comey volunteered that past year he bowed to the insistence of then Attorney General Loretta Lynch that he avoid calling the FBI's investigation into Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's handling of her classified emails a "criminal investigation", which is what it was.

According to Comey - whose veracity was taken for granted, even by the Republican senators - Trump expressed a wish for him to drop the Flynn probe, asked him to state publicly that Trump was not being investigated and informed him, "I expect loyalty".
