The PlayStation 4 grew a wide sales lead over Xbox One, and Microsoft has refocused its efforts on the game side of its console since.

Microsoft's Xbox One X arrives on 7 November with a price of around £450, adds the site.

Microsoft, along with Sony and Nintendo, typically release a new console every few years and compete to draw the most players and the best games to the platform.

Through this program, Microsoft has made a bunch of Xbox 360 games compatible with Xbox One hardware, giving those old libraries new life. If that isn't enough, all existing Xbox ONE and S accessories and games will work on the new console, and they'll tap into improved graphics on the new system as soon as you fire it up. In other words, these games are likely to get graphical upgrades when they arrive on Xbox One.

The Xbox One X launches this holiday on November 7, retailing for $499 Dollars and £449 GBP.

"Crucially, we do not believe that, at this stage, Xbox One X is a device to re-ignite Xbox One sales in continental Europe and to gain market share from Sony in key sales territories outside of U.S. and United Kingdom". This shows promise, and a possible avenue into a competitive player base, as the press conference had an actual live play by play announcer doing commentary of the game that was taking place below.

2014's Shadow of Mordor pioneered a new kind of adaptive enemy AI known as the Nemesis System, which pretty much everyone agreed was way better than the whole rest of the game.

The idea that consoles are really just custom PCs built specifically for gaming has never felt more true, and the line between what is a "hardcore PC game" and what's traditionally a console game has never been blurrier.

We'll guess most gamers won't be too fussed about that, and in fairness it's been a while since we heard about a Kinect game that appeared, so we'll call the Xbox motion gaming world done and dusted, replaced instead with more realistic, more powerful, and more lifelike gaming. While this could also be said of the PS4 Pro, at least Sony didn't spend months leaving the PS4 to gather dust in preparation of its launch.

Released earlier this year via Steam, Battlegrounds is the latest game in a long lineup of battle royale experiences available on PC.

"That is what the future of gaming is going to look like".
