Danny Ward prefers Huddersfield return to Liverpool bench

Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward is keen on a return to newly-promoted Huddersfield next season, but has admitted that the Reds" needs "must come first'.

Ward enjoyed an excellent campaign with the Terriers, producing a consistently strong run of form and proving an influential member of their promotion-winning team.

The Wales worldwide was an integral part of the Terriers promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Wagner is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "Aaron has been a consistently outstanding player for us, and I have said this before - he is the heart of our game".
