Coming to the 13-inch MacBook Pro, it features the latest Intel Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz, and the 15-inch MacBook Pro goes up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz.
Speaking of which, the iMac Pro is just 8 inches thin when you consider the stand, and it weighs only 21.5 lbs. SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster, and iMac comes with Thunderbolt 3, the most powerful and versatile port ever.
Radeon Pro 500 graphics also support GPU acceleration through OpenCL across creative applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
The latest iMac highlights Kaby Lake processors up to 4.2GHz along with the Turbo Increase to 4.5GH. The 15-inch MacBook Pro now comes standard with more powerful discrete graphics with more video memory, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro adds a new S$1,898 configuration. Other features include a 27-inch 5K display, four Thunderbolt 3 ports and 10GB Ethernet. With this new update, the top of the line MacBook will end up being powered by an Intel Core i7 chip that maxes out at 1.3 GHz.
Also today, Apple gave a sneak peek of iMac Pro™, an entirely new workstation-class product line designed for pro users with the most demanding workflows. They changed the performance into the attractive, quiet iMac enclosure.
Britain plunged into uncertainty as Theresa May tipped to lose majority
A big loss could complicate the SNP's plans to push for a new referendum on Scottish independence as Britain prepares to leave the EU.
Apple is said to be stepping up with an upgraded MacBook Pro to knock out Microsoft's latest Surface Laptop. We had the 2018 Mac Pro reveal last month, today we have updated MacBook Pros (with Kaby Lake processors, faster SSDs and faster GPU options), new support in macOS High Sierra for external GPU enclosures, hardware decoding for H.265 in upcoming Macs and this super-charged iMac Pro. We reengineered the entire system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance.
Despite the massive leap in computational power, Apple claims they will be able to maintain the same thin iMac design by increasing the cooling efficiency by up to 80%.
The iMac Pro has also been given a new "space gray" paint job, making it distinct from the traditional silver of the iMac.
Apple has announced their most powerful Mac computer ever at WWDC 2017, the new iMac Pro and it comes with some impressive specifications. This CPU grunt is paired with AMD's Radeon Pro 56 or 64 Vega-based graphics processors, offering 11 trillion floating-point operations per second (T/FLOPS) of single-precision compute and 16GB of High-Bandwidth Memory 2 (HBM2) on-package. And for half-precision computation, ideal for machine learning, iMac Pro delivers up to an incredible 22 Teraflops of performance.
