In what could be another instance of violent racial attack on Indians in US, a 26-year-old youth who was working at a departmental store near California was shot at an unidentified assailant.
The family was informed about the incident on June 5 by some relatives.
On Sunday night, some miscreants barged into the store as customers, provoked Mubeen into an argument and fired at him indiscriminately. Doctors said that his condition continues to be critical.

Mubeen's father said that they received a call from the hospital where he was being treated and that his condition was critical. He reportedly has already visited Irrigation minister T Harish Rao and other politicians, bureaucrats as well.
