Almost six years after it was announced, Fortnite is coming to Early Access. Although Epic did not specify a price, it did list Xbox One, PS4, Windows PCs, and Mac computers as compatible platforms for early access. Since then it's had development woes, been previewed multiple times, and been under the radar as well. A selection of game packages are available for pre-purchase on the official website, ranging from $39.99, all the way up to $149.99, arriving with various bonuses in tow. Players will band together online to explore the world for resources, build extravagant forts, find or build insane weapons and traps as they protect their towns from the odd monsters that emerge during the Storm.
Fortnite launches next month as a paid Early Access game on PC and consoles. You'll have to explore, craft, build, and fight to stay alive.
Middle East needs diplomacy not infighting
Saudi club Al-Ahli canceled its sponsorship deal with Qatar Airways, a Federation Internationale de Football Association sponsor. The immediate break of the diplomatic ties with Iran was also reportedly one of the conditions laid down by Riyadh.
"Bringing Fortnite to life has been a true labor of love by a talented and dedicated team over many years", says Darren Sugg, Creative Director on Fortnite. Anyone who knows that they want to get in on this might want to consider pre-ordering the Founder's pack, as people who do will get access to game earlier, July 21, as well as an exclusive Storm Master Weapon Pack. On top of that, you'll have exclusive access to events later on in the season.
You can see detailed descriptions of the different Founder's Packs over here.
