Cosby was charged in 2015 with felony aggravated indecent assault shortly before the statute of limitations on Constand's claim expired.

"He was a Temple friend, somebody I trusted, a mentor, and somewhat of an older figure to me", Constand said of the entertainer, who served as a trustee at the Pennsylvania school. I was trying to get my hands to move, but I was frozen and the messages didn't get there.
After she was excused, prosecutors sought to call Johnson's mother to bolster her testimony.

Constand testified that on a previous evening at his home, the actor had tried to unfasten her trousers. "And when she went to the hotel she was directed to (a bungalow)", Sewell testified.
Cosby's lawyers questioned her credibility.

Constand's cross-examination will continue when court resumes Wednesday. Johnson said that she had lotion on her hand and Cosby made her touch his penis, she said.
Constand said that when she later called Cosby to ask why he had given her the pills he replied: "I thought you had an orgasm, didn't you?"
Despite the actor's wife and childrens' absence in court, a source tells Us that "Camille will be in the courtroom later in the trial" and that "Bill's wife and daughters both fully support him".
"She called me at work", the mother testified. She said she met him through a well-respected donor of Temple University sports. She said she moved away, told him that she was not interested in a physical relationship and left the house.
The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are sexual assault victims unless they grant permission, which Constand and Johnson have done. After meeting Constand via a mutual friend, Cosby started calling her on her university-issued cellphone about issues such as renovations to the team's facilities. Her deposition from that lawsuit remains sealed.
Pulliam isn't the only alum from "The Cosby Show" who has publicly defended Cosby as sexual assault allegations came to light. And they like to poke holes in what they say are inconsistencies in her story. Johnson told jurors the visit happened before Cosby allegedly assaulted her.
"It was a very big burden on me, but".
"I said 'I trust you, '" she said. "I just wanted to go home".
