Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith completed one of the ultimate troll jobs during a show on the campus of Ohio State on Sunday night.
Smith, who has MI ties as he grew up in Bloomfield Hills, is a big UM fan and even had the MI logo on his drum set for the performance.
Chad Smith took to the stage at Ohio State on Sunday night and sang the University of MI fight song.
Just as the show was set to end, Smith wanted the crowd to know the group had one more song.

With Champions League qualification in their grasp, Craig Burley says Liverpool need to seal the deal against Boro. The former Red said on BBC Radio 5 live: " If they were to lose him, who would they bring in to replace him ".
Apparently he couldn't help hide his MI fandom, even in the heart of Buckeye nation. He pulled this off first in 2012 when he sang "The Victors" at a concert in Columbus.
Oh yeah, and Smith even played in front of the Ohio State-heavy crowd with a MI bass drum.
"I lived in Bloomfield Hills from when I was in seventh grade until I moved to California in 1988", Smith told ESPN.com in 2012. That helmet is still the coolest. Chad also talked about his childhood saying, "Growing up, Michigan was definitely more popular than Michigan State".
"I fell for that early and it was such a big deal". The Michigan native is a longtime U-M fan. "They hooked me early".
