Moses Malone Jr., son of the Basketball Hall of Famer and ex-Rockets star, filed suit Monday in Texas against the Rockets' James Harden, accusing him of orchestrating an assault at a Houston strip club last summer, Fox 26 in Houston reported.

Malone, the son of National Basketball Association legend Moses Malone, was beaten and robbed of jewelry by four armed men on June 25 outside V Live Houston, an after-hours strip club.

Eyewitness News received a screenshot of Malone's Facebook post.

Malone told police he was beaten and robbed of $50,000 in jewelry as well as his cellphone, credit card and auto keys during the incident, although the latter two items were returned to him at the scene. According to court documents, Blount said Malone had "disrespected James Harden and that he needs to be punished after that". Several people connected to the assault have already been charged criminally. "There were text messages between Moses and some of James Harden's friends".

So far, there has been no evidence linking Harden directly to the attack, but he will have to answer questions about his knowledge of the men involved, and the scope of Harden's relationship with the club will be explored.

The company said the virus has been localized and "technical work is underway to destroy it and update the antivirus protection". In Japan, companies such as Hitachi and Nissan reported problems but said their operations had not been seriously affected.

A lawyer for Harden told the station, "I am totally comfortable that the allegations are untrue".

The original lawsuit, filed in September, seeks damages against V Live Houston for injury and loss of property.

'Unfortunately, I am afraid this is just another example of people shopping for a deep pocket when they find that the people actually responsible have no money'.

The suit states that Malone was repeatedly kicked and punched in the face, had his diamond earrings ripped out, and was robbed of other jewelry before the assailants entered the club with Blount.
