The Election Commission today rejected Aam Aadmi Party's claim of EVM tampering, saying that look alike EVM has no relevance, incidence or bearing on its Electronic Voting Machines. However, the machine used by Saurabh was only a prototype and not the actual machine that is used in elections.
The resolution also called for tallying of votes polled in 25 per cent randomly-selected booths with the paper trail generated by VVPAT machines.
"Our MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj has shown that EVMs can be easily hacked", he said.
He said the entire game is about a secret code, which once entered into the machine transfers all the votes to that one party which is supposed to win.
Bharadwaj undertook a small voting procedure by giving two votes each to every party (AAP, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian National Congress (INC) and Samajwadi Party (SP)). It flayed Kejriwal for not replying to the corruption charges.
He said, "for hacking and rigging in any machine, all you have to do is change the mother board which can be done in a few seconds, I challenge those from Harvard or those who have hard work to come and prove how this can't be done".

Nobody knows if Patrick Maroon can duplicate his career year, or what Milan Lucic will look like with another year on him. Nashville is a talented team, and there really shouldn't be that many people surprised that they've made it this far.
The recent debacle surrounding expelled AAP leader Kapil Mishra and his allegations of bribery against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are also bound to be raked.
The Delhi Assembly in a day-long special session passed a resolution on Tuesday urging President Pranab Mukherjee and the Election Commission to ensure that EVMs with VVPAT are used in all future elections.
"If it is a prototype, then it is not the same as the EVM used by the commission". It is unsafe for the democracy and the country, and people should raise their voice against it. Give AAP the EVMs.
The AAP chief claimed an EVM could be "tampered with" in "90 seconds".
Mishra outside the assembly alleged that the EVM demonstration was just a tactic employed by the AAP government was to divert public attention from real issues. As per the votes, the maximum votes should have gone to AAP but the results were shocking.
