Tanguay: Wizards have taken shine off Celtics' star

The Warriors star called Kelly Olynyk a dirty player on his podcast "Dray Day", referencing the Celtics center's hard screen on Wizards forward Kelly Oubre that escalated into a scuffle during Game 3 on Thursday.

"We just have to corral him", said Wizards forward Markieff Morris. Entering Game 5 on Wednesday, the Wizards and Celtics are knotted at 2-2.

Wall scored 40 points in a losing effort in Game 2 thanks to Isaiah Thomas' monster 53-point outing, but this time Wall didn't need to go bananas. "That's the mindset I felt like all of us had". Thomas was mad that referees allowed the Wizards to get away with holding and grabbing him but acknowledged the 26-0 run - not the officiating - decided the game.

Thomas, who missed five of his final six shots, was ticked off that he didn't attempt a single free throw despite taking a lot of contact.

"I'm not sure where that narrative starts". He connected to the groin region of Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams a few times in last year's playoffs.

"We're still down one, still down in the series". "We figured, you know, he's good at getting in and making everybody collapse and keying out to the shooters, so we made an adjustment that".

Watchdog warns of 'frightening' future for Indonesia after Ahok case
Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama (center) talks with his lawyers after his sentencing hearing Tuesday in Indonesia's capital city. Critics see Ahok's fate as tied to a prolonged decline in religious tolerance in Indonesia. "Therefore we will appeal".

"I talked about this (Sunday)", Stevens said Monday in a conference call with reporters. Al Horford's 11 points aren't going to be enough to win the series if the rest of the starters continue to underperform. He said he knew he had to be aggressive, and Brooks was never anxious about the All-Star guard losing his confidence or passing up good looks. The best revenge Oubre and Washington could inflict on Olynyk would be sending he and his teammates packing after two rounds.

Green was presumably referring to the questionable screens that Olynyk set against the Wizards during Game 3 of their playoff series against the Celtics, which caused Washington's Kelly Oubre to charge him and push him to the ground, resulting in an ejection and consequent suspension.

Washington put together a 22-0 run in the first quarter of Game 3.

Wizards: Improved to 5-0 at home in the playoffs. Porter had 18 points.

In those same four games John Wall has 20, 40, 24 and 27 points.

The first half was competitive, and the teams went into the third quarter tied at 48-48. Wall has 20-plus points and seven-plus assists in 10 consecutive playoff games, the most in a single postseason in National Basketball Association history ahead of Michael Jordan's eight.
