SEAN Dyche will hope to toast his 200th league game in charge of Burnley at Bournemouth tomorrow with the result that confirms the Clarets place in the Premier League next season.
AFC Bournemouth could secure their highest ever finish in the club's 118-year history with a point against a Burnley side who have all but confirmed their Premier League safety. "The last came in November 1998 when an even fresher-faced Eddie Howe starred in their defence".
The Bournemouth fairytale might not be all it seems on the surface - the club paid a €7.6 million fine after breaking Financial Fair Play rules previous year - but Demin's gamble on Howe leading his side to promotion from the Championship paid off handsomely. "Now we have got two games left to try to do that".
Speaking about a potential move for Wilshere, Howe told the press, as quoted by Sky Sports on their website: "I think that's going to be really hard for us".
"That's a fantastic marker for a side that was given no chance".
"It is good to see how other teams work and I was very impressed by them".
Think you can do better than Lawro? They're unbeaten in their last three games stretching back to that win over Boro, having defeated Sunderland away the next week.
Ransomware hack attack exposes serious NHS vulnerabilities
On Friday, Russia's interior and emergencies ministries, as well as its biggest bank, Sberbank, said they were targeted. At least one Russian agency was hit by the ransomware - a fact that emerged after earlier conflicting reports .
Dyche was pleased with the way he was able to re-organise Burnley for promotion via the title a year ago, but admits this has been his toughest season yet at Turf Moor.
The Cherries have taken seven points out of the last possible nine and have only lost twice in 10 matches (W4, D4).
However, they have conceded 19 goals in their last 10 league games at the Vitality Stadium, keeping only two clean sheets.
Bournemouth have scored four Premier League own goals in 2017. If you went on maximising a group then the last Premier League season because the group wasn't strong enough really.
If there was any justice, they would be front-runners for just about any upcoming vacancy in the Premier League, with the managerial merry-go-round expected to kick into gear again at the end of the season. But the fact that Bournemouth and Burnley are thriving in the Premier League is impressive enough.
Former player of ours Sam Vokes.
Stephen Ward has found the net in his last two league matches against the Cherries, doing so for Brighton in January 2014 and Burnley in the reverse fixture this season.
