Rooney, Manchester United's most under-appreciated player

Wayne Rooney has signalled his intention to stay at Manchester United into the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, despite regular links with moves elsewhere.

He says his ideal scenario is to see out the year left on his contract - and possibly take up the option for another season after that - but he admits he wants to play more, having started only 22 of the 59 games United have played in all competitions so far this season.

"Football changes. You have different periods, different challenges in your career", said the England striker.

The former United player noted that Rooney is the most under-appreciated player in English football, adding that he is not the player he used to be. "It's a massive opportunity for us to reach and win a European final".

Nicki Minaj Looks Awfully Cozy With Nas In This Casual Pic
No PDA, but they looked like a couple'. "Now to think about it Nas and Nicki would make a nice couple", another supporter wrote. At first, it seemed like an odd pairing as Minaj is known for her outlandish tendencies while Nas is usually laid back.

"Me personally I would like to see him go to Italy and play there for the next four, five years and learn so much more about the game". "I've tried to help the team on the pitch and off the pitch". I haven't thrown my toys out of the pram but I do want to play to help the team. "When called upon I'll try my best to help the team". Of course. I want to play football.

Rooney became United's all-time leading scorer this season, but he is expected to drop to the bench against Celta at Old Trafford, where Mourinho's side will be defending a 1-0 lead from last week's first leg.

The Manchester United captain has managed 7 goals and 10 assists this season, in 34 appearances. "This club belongs there".

The 31-year-old has struggled through injury and inconsistent form this season, regularly finding himself excluded from Jose Mourinho's starting XI. "The competition has been long, we deserve to be here and it is a big chance to win a trophy".
