In a final day campaigning, British Columbia premier and Liberal leader Christy Clark crisscrossed the south of the province urging voters to "choose hope, not despair" as she focused on her party's economic track record.
Among these incumbents, two are from New Democratic Party (NDP), the main opposition in the present government, and one from the ruling Liberal Party.
Social Media ROi analyzed more than 475,000 comments on social media about the three main political leaders, starting January 1.
In Saanich North and the Islands, Stephen Roberts of the Liberals hold a razor-thin advantage, also within the margin of error, over Green candidate Adam Olsen.
The online survey of a representative sample of British Columbians shows that the approval rating for all three leaders improved as the campaign progressed.
As in 2013, the BC Liberals lead with older voters (by 6 points among 55+ years) and the NDP leads among younger voters (by 9 points among 18-34 years).

Homsy says there's unlikely to be much difference between a Liberal or NDP win for the province's finances.
During the campaign, Clark, a former radio host, pledged to enact a levy of C$70 ($64) on every ton of thermal coal exported from the province - a retaliatory move against U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs on softwood lumber.
When the election was called the Liberals held 48 seats, the New Democrats held 35. Out of about a dozen tight ridings across the province, the poll delves into four battleground ridings.
The Liberal election-night party is in a downtown hotel, just across the street from where the NDP will be gathering - an oddly close proximity for supporters of the two polarizing parties. Polls open until 8 p.m.
"We came down here to try to talk to Christy because she doesn't talk to us and she hasn't apologized to teachers for the hurt that she's caused", says Parkland teacher librarian Aaron Mueller, who was on a professional development day.
