Scores of activists of the women wing of the Congress on Monday staged a protest near the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, demanding his resignation over allegations levelled against him by sacked minister Kapil Mishra.

The decision was taken by its high-powered Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

On Monday, Mishra filed a complaint regarding what is known as the Water Tanker Scam with the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) saying Kejriwal delayed action in the case.

On the issue of funding, sources said there was a discrepancy between the amount of donations received that the party had declared on its website, that it had disclosed to the Election Commission and the amount found in the party's bank accounts. "First FIR will be on cash deal between Satyendra Jain and Arvind Kejriwal Ji". However, he also said that as Kejriwal is the Chief Minister he can easily tamper with the proofs. "I do not even have the money to hire a lawyer", Mishra said.

Mishra alleged that Jain had helped Arvind Kejriwal's relative in a seven-acre farmhouse deal in Chhattarpur. Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra, who has accused Mr Kejriwal of taking bribe is also in the house.

The sale was disclosed in a document filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission, which is available at the SEC website . After a recent look, shares have been seen 0.89% from the 200-day moving average, and 0.28% from the 50-day moving average.

Mishra sacking came days after he rallied support for Kumar Vishwas, a senior AAP leader who had several run-ins with the party leadership since the end of April.

Hitting out at Mishra over his allegations of corruption against Kejriwal, Singh claimed Mishra had himself written a letter to the ACB in September past year, saying that the anti-graft body was trying to implicate the chief minister in the water tanker scam under pressure even when his name was not mentioned in the evidence.

AAP's Sanjay Singh holds a press conference to refute the charges and says the party is behind Arvind Kejriwal.

"He is saying exactly what BJP has been trying to allege".

"The ACB is under the central government which is ruled by the BJP". "And now they (the BJP and the Congress) are accusing us", Singh said". "Mishra is now speaking the language of the BJP and Congress".
