Pathan, who last played for Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016 (now Rising Pune Supergiant) were criticised for under utilising one of India's famous all-rounders.

Gujarat Lions' next VIVO IPL 2017 encounter is against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday 27th April at Bengaluru. Roy, who impressed one and all with his gutsy display of batting in the limited-overs series in India earlier this year, has played only three games for the Lions and he hasn't done all that bad.
