Models are continuing to indicate showers developing in north-central Kansas (behind the front) after 5pm, Because this is behind the front and in a more stable airmass severe weather (or even widespread t-storms) are not expected. Overnight into Wednesday morning, showers will focus over the Northern Mountains and Northeast Plains. Highs are forecast to only reach the mid to upper 50s, upwards of 10 degrees below normal for late April. By the time we end the weekend, some locations could see over 3 inches of rain for the entire week.
Wednesday will have plenty of clouds around with just a little drizzle early in the day.
Be on guard for strong to severe storms on Wednesday afternoon into the evening.
Meanwhile, the wind will pick up alongside the rain, with gusts to about 30 miles per hour.

A handsome Spring day, and the first of a string of warm days for most of New Jersey. The severe threat will continue this evening but after midnight any showers or even storms still leftover will not be severe. It's going to be pretty humid too - truly, a taste of summer! It will be a pleasant day with highs in the lower-80s.
Wednesday will be similar to Tuesday with more clouds than sunshine and breezy conditions.
