Former Bachelor Chris Soules, 35, could lose everything in a worst-case scenario after he allegedly plowed into a tractor and fled the scene April. 24, leaving a 66-year-old man dead. Police told the outlet that Soules fled the scene, leaving behind his truck.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Soules had "not been cooperative" with police before he was arrested, and a representative has released a statement since then saying that Soules "was devastated to learn that Kenneth Mosher, the other person in the accident, passed away".

Officials say Soules was driving the pickup truck that hit Mosher's tractor, sending it rolling into the east ditch along Buchanan County Road W45. KWWL reported that the trailer ended up in a ditch.

The tractor driver was identified Tuesday as Kenneth E. Mosher, 66, of Aurora, according to the patrol report obtained by the newspaper. The driver of the tractor then died at the hospital. The crash scene is about 15 miles south of Arlington, the station said.

The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office confirmed to People that Soules was arrested at 1:16 a.m. Tuesday. Bright said he believes there were no passengers in Soules' truck.

The crash remains under investigation.
