CORYDON, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say former "Happy Days" star Erin Moran likely died from cancer at her southern IN home.
Sometime after that, amid reports of homelessness, Moran was seen living in a Holiday Inn Express in Corydon, Indiana, eight miles north of New Salisbury, the paper said.
An autopsy and standard toxicology tests were performed on the 56-year-old actress and the results are pending.
In recent years, she was reported to be living in an in trailer park.
Emergency responders found her unresponsive at a trailer park after the sheriff's department received a 911 call, the department said.

The former teen star was just 56 when she was found dead Saturday afternoon, the Associated Press reported.
Moran was more often in the news for her numerous personal and financial struggles and was reportedly homeless at times. Her teaming with onscreen love interest Scott Baio proved to be so popular that they spun off into their own short-lived series, "Joanie Loves Chachi". "My thing is, I feel bad because her whole life, she was troubled, could never find what made her happy and content". Again, she died from cancer. She did enjoy small roles in films like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star and Not Another B Movie, but was largely absent from the Hollywood scene in the 2010s.
Moran is pictured bottom left with the rest of the Happy Days cast. While other cast members continued to act or direct, acting roles became scarce for Moran.
The actress and three of her Happy Days co-stars, Don Most, Anson Williams and Marion Ross, plus the estate of Tom Bosley, who died in 2010, filed a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS, which owns the show.
