The notation is believed to refer to the words in the Bible from John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".

A judge's order to preserve evidence relating to the prison suicide of Aaron Hernandez includes video recordings of his cell for the eight hours before the ex-NFL star was found hanged. "And then the first text I got after it became clear that Hernandez was the suspect in the murder investigation was from William Bendetson, who was like, Hey remember that day in the locker room?". A judge has already ruled that he was responsible for Lloyd's death, according to Sheff, and all that's left in the case is the determination of damages.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) - A MA judge on Friday ordered all evidence in the prison suicide of Aaron Hernandez preserved, granting a request from the ex-NFL star's fiancee so the family can investigate the circumstances of his death. It also lists photos, clothes that Hernandez was wearing, interviews with guards and fellow inmates and any recorded phone calls involving Hernandez in the month before his death.

The fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins Hernandez, had filed court papers on behalf of Hernandez's estate, asking that prison officials be barred from altering or destroying any potential evidence.

An attorney for Aaron Hernandez's estate plans to sue state officials for negligence surrounding his apparent suicide and railed against the "salacious" details leaked to the media, he said in court on Friday.

A judge in New Bedford is due to hear the request at 2 p.m. Friday.

British parliament set to approve Theresa May's snap poll plan
MPs, the PM said, have a window of opportunity to hold a general election before negotiations with the European Union begin. In contrast, nearly all the MPs in May's Conservatives party (325 out of 330) voted for the early election.

Thompson didn't say when he'll file the request.

That information comes from a joint statement from Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr., Massachusetts State Police Superintendent Col. Richard McKeon, and Secretary of Public Safety Daniel Bennett.

The former University of Florida standout died five days after a jury acquitted him in those two deaths, which prosecutors alleged were precipitated by one of the men accidentally spilling a drink on Hernandez at a Boston nightclub. He was already serving a life term in a 2013 killing.

Under Massachusetts state law, convictions are typically vacated for defendants who die before their appeals can be heard.

MA chief medical examiner Dr. Henry N. Nields performed an autopsy on Hernandez, from which he concluded Thursday he died by suicide after hanging himself from his prison cell window with his bed sheet. Hernandez's appeal was still in its early stages and hadn't yet been heard when he hanged himself early Wednesday.
