Thunder will likely play Russell Westbrook more minutes in playoffs

Shortly after the Thunder wrapped up their regular-season finale, Russell Westbrook grew tired of talking about individual accolades.

Harden was just 1.9 rebounds per game shy of a triple double himself, averaging 29.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and a league-best 11.2 assists.

Most of the national narrative has pushed to either Russell Westbrook or James Harden as the eventual victor of the NBA's MVP award that will be awarded in June.

However, as Griffin sees it - while also factoring stats like PER (Player Efficiency Rating, a comprehensive stat that looks at a player's overall production) - that Westbrook could even have the energy to dominate in so many areas and average a triple-double is mind-blowing.

For the Rockets, their gameplan should be simple enough: let Westbrook get his. And regardless, the National Basketball Association has made a decision to string out the announcment even further this year, with all the major awards being given out on June 26 - provided the National Basketball Association offices aren't leakier than the White House.

Bulls at Celtics on Sunday. A Durant injury kind of unhinged the team briefly but they got back on track and remained the number one seed. Isaiah Thomas is a horrific defender but he'll run circles around Rajon Rondo, who can't in turn punish him on the other end.

(2) Cavaliers vs. (7) Pacers: Paul George has had a fine season in IN, and certainly, the return of Lance Stephenson gives another player for the Pacers to annoy LeBron James with (perhaps by blowing in his ear.Google that for a few great memes). Cleveland doesn't (or at least hasn't) defended well at all this season, but still, I figure they'll find a way to muddle things up.

"Just stay solid, stick to the game plan and it'll work out", Adams continued.

Royal Mail CEO Moya Green told Mail Online that the company recognises the importance of the campaign. Heads Together is the campaign she spearhead with The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

No active player had more games without a playoff appearance than Monroe.

His turnovers went down although they are still hovering around three a game like they did the previous five seasons. But to face King James, the Raptors have to stop the Greek Freak, and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a handful.

(4) Wizards vs. (5) Hawks: Numerically, this should be the closest matchup, but I feel it's nowhere near that. Olajuwon's team won just 47 games and captured the 6-seed. The Rockets' relentless nature behind the arc locks horns with Westbrook's relentless nature in the full court. The Hawks got back into things after not trading virtual cornerstone Paul Millsap, but they don't have a star-level guy anywhere near the level of Wall. That one remains ongoing, though most people probably believe you can at this point.

- If the Thunder does opt to go small, it has shown throughout the season that it has the ability to do so. That leaves one final guard spot with a bunch of worthy contenders: DeMar DeRozan, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving and Kyle Lowry. But they have a good coach and an underrated supporting cast, one that will make Houston risky in the playoffs.

Philadelphia went 22 consecutive times from 1950 through 1971. "Not saying he wouldn't want to do it or give everything he has if he had to do it, but I think being mindful of how many consecutive minutes he's played is important".

Thunder coach Billy Donovan admitted that Westbrook will nearly certainly see more action during the National Basketball Association playoffs.

But with all the help Harden will have (think Trevor Ariza, Patrick Beverley, Ryan Anderson, Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, Lou Williams and Nene), Westbrook needs assistance.

Westbrook just finished going for 50/16/10 and hit a 36-foot game-winner at the buzzer as I am typing this.
