Sir David will be transformed into a hologram and will guide participants to virtually "handle" fossils, using his passion for the natural world to bring the objects to life.

On paper, it pretty much sounds like the virtual museum experience we all envisioned when we first though about VR education. An exact release date is still unclear. Press shots show Attenborough monkeying around with an Oculus Rift VR headset, complete with Oculus Touch controllers, which shows that no matter how brilliant, respected, or intelligent you are, wearing a VR headset is guaranteed to make you look a bit derpy.
