Bloom's Midas touch has now helped Brighton & Hove Albion FC progress to the big league in a move which is estimated to be worth £170 million for their first season, and then £290 million by season 2.

A run of five straight wins came at just the right time for Brighton, who agonisingly missed out on automatic promotion last season after finishing third and failing to get through the playoffs.

Brighton effectively sealed promotion to the English Premier League and increased their lead at the top of the championship to seven points, with a 2-1 win over Wigan. The Premier League is really tough, we know that, and we are going to hopefully have a good season and enjoy being in the Premier League for many years to come.

"I think we have gone under the radar, but we have been quietly confident in our little bubble that we can do it and all the talk has been about Newcastle". We had a board meeting planned but that became the first day of the new season. "We have to strengthen, that goes without saying, but we're not looking to spend huge amounts. We've put ourselves in a good position to attempt to do it".

"We've got a very competitive squad who will all want an opportunity to play in the Premier League", he added.

"It is possible to do both like Bournemouth previous year and probably Burnley will this season".

Dozens of his show's advertisers have fled following reports of harassment settlements paid to other women. He has denied any wrongdoing and his lawyer characterized the attacks as "character assassination".

'Anthony Knockaert loves Brighton and loves playing for this club, ' said Bloom.

"If we beat Cardiff on Saturday, we will still have a chance and we will go flat out until the end of the season", he said.

"It was an ambition and challenge for me, and they told me straight away that it was the club's ambition to reach the Premier League". Everyone is impressed with the job he's done at Brighton.

Brighton can wrap up the title at Norwich on Friday and Stockdale said: "To come back after an global break when people were doubting us, saying we were going to bottle it again - they were wrong".

"It would be wonderful for us (winning the title), we're one win away and we'll try everything to do it on Friday, and if not Friday, we'll try and do it against Bristol City at home", he said "Some players never get memories like this in their career, so it's fantastic for us".
