WASHINGTON-The First Family attended the first Easter Egg Roll of Donald Trump's presidency on Monday, making their rounds at the annual event that draws families from across the region to the White House's South Lawn for Easter festivities. Pierre is the designer who created her dress for the inauguration balls, as well as the green ensemble she wore to meet King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan earlier this month. (Barron seems to have taken a cue from his mom on this one, but still followed the tradition just as the song started.) In the video, Melania does her best to hide the fact that she's prompting her husband; she keeps her hand low and mostly hidden by the planter in front of them. "I've seen those kids, and they're highly, highly competitive", said Trump, obviously talking about himself. "I want to thank the military band, all the staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure that you have a memorable experience".
Grisham said that the first lady really wanted to "get back to the tradition" with things like military bands "and focusing on the family itself". First lady Melania Trump and 11-year-old son Barron both immediately put their hands over their hearts while the president stood with his hands by his side.
And in 2016, at the Obamas' last Easter Egg Roll, the first couple pulled out a few dance moves.
Over at the reading area, Mrs. Trump read "Party Animals", a story about celebrating differences written by television personality Kathie Lee Gifford.

In fact, the President's wife will take on additional responsibility soon. He, the First Lady and Barron also joined kids at a table to color cards to send to United States service members.
Monday's event came amid questions over whether or not the White House would be able to adequately organize the event in time.
Do you think Melania did a good job reading to the kids?
