Ahead of its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group has revealed the new Lynk & CO 03 sedan concept.

The design concept called the 03, follows the 01-a SUV concept vehicle that was unveiled in October. The new brand will also borrow transverse-mounted 1.5-liter three-cylinder and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines from Volvo.

The 01 is expected to have a range of engines derived from sister brand Volvo's existing engine lineup, in addition to a subsequent plug-in hybrid version which will share electric power with the upcoming Volvo XC40. Key design features of the 03 Concept will also be revealed at the auto show, according to the company.

Geely is moving quickly to launch its newest automotive venture, Lynk & Co.

To make the auto buying process easier, Lynk & Co will offer transparent fixed prices, online sales, and home delivery services.

"We believe Lynk & Co will offer the most connected cars in the world, with the world's first in-car digital share function". Promoting the vehicles as "smartphones on wheels", Lynk has announced its intention to sell directly to customers using the internet and other alternative methods rather than through dealerships, but it also wants to provide the option for subscription services similar to Netflix or Spotify.

Geely, one of China's biggest automakers and owners of Volvo Cars, had unveiled their new sub-brand, Lynk & Co in October a year ago with the 01 compact SUV.

Lifetime warranties and free connectivity are other perks being pitched as standard features on the 01 and 03.

Ambitious sales targets have already been laid out by the company, which will build its cars in China and sell them globally, including in the U.S. Lynk is aiming to sell 500,000 vehicles annually within half a decade, with sales kicking off in China in the second half of 2017.
