Google is set to unveil the new Google Earth just four days before the "Earth Day" which happens on April 22nd.
Google hopes to change that mindset.
Google Earth is a virtual globe that allows users to trawl satellite images of the planet's surface.
Not more than 10 minutes old, the new leaks suggest that the Google Maps has recently seen the face of new updates.
Google Earth launched more than a decade ago, giving people a space-eye view of earth, while developers got free 3D software. This means it is not quite as good as the technology on the Android version of Google Maps. However, in 2004, Google acquired the app and renamed it Google Earth in 2005. Before you had to open up the Google Maps app to get directions or at least use the push notifications feature.
In conjunction with Earth Day, Google has taken the wraps off their entirely new version of Google Earth available on both the Web, via Chrome, and Android.

Google Earth has been one of the most popular Google services for many long years.
"We think of it as the front page of Google Earth", said Gopal Shah, product manager for Google Earth. Using the 3D button, they can tilt and rotate the map to look up walls, over cliffs or inside buildings. "I can immerse myself in the environment".
Apart from these additions, Google Maps update version 4.30.0 (already available on App Store) also brings bug fixes, as per the change log of the app on the store. Google said it plans to continue with these types of partnerships.
Though Google is trying to offer something new in this update, we can admit the fact that it has to face the tough competition from Apple Maps. This means that it is going to be a hard process for Google to overtake Apple Maps as the main maps app for iOS.
