Yoenis Cespedes continued his mastery of the Phillies and power display in the Phillies' home stadium by tying his career-high with three homers in the Mets' 14-4 win Tuesday night.
According to Statcast, each of Cespedes' home runs had an exit velocity of at least 105 miles per hour. "Fans might like to see it, I guess, but for me, it's just unprofessional". In Cespedes and Bruce, the team has two of them-a duo that will be very hard to handle for opposing pitchers all year long. Cespedes became the only player in Mets history to have two three-home run games, having already accomplished the feat in 2015 at Coors Field in Denver.
Cabrera's home run in September may have upset Ramos a "little", but he said he's "put that in the past".
