As Windhorst noted, once the signings are complete, Cleveland will have had 22 different players on their roster this year in what has been a bit of a revolving door alongside the Big Three of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. He spent most of his time in the D-League but was eventually called up after Tristan Thompson was sidelined with a sprained right thumb. But 54 seconds into his debut, Bogut was gone for the season and no longer a member of the defending champs. He's also been on the express shuttle between Canton - the Cavs' D-League affiliate - and Cleveland. Sanders was largely ineffective for the Cavaliers after being signed last month to provide front-court depth.
Then there's Tavares. Having played just 12 games in the National Basketball Association (11 in 2015-16 and one in 2016-17, all with the Hawks), the 7-foot-3 rim protector seems like a pure project. GM David Griffin was hoping for more when signing for Sanders, but looks like that his run with the Cavs has come to an end.
David Villa Chips The Goalkeeper From 65 Yards
On Friday, he helped his side beat the Philadelphia Union with one of the best goals of his career. This wasn't his best long-range goal ever.
After all, in the 2012-2013 season, he averaged 9.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 27.3 minutes per game for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was a huge piece for the 905 as the made their stretch run to the postseason.
But it became apparent Sanders was not ready to help the Cavs in the playoffs.
