Switch sells 906000 units in March in the U

Nintendo Switch sold more than 906,000 units across the United States in March according to the NPD Group, but that wasn't the only success that Nintendo could celebrate.

The Nintendo Switch is selling fast and breaking records at Nintendo. This group of analysts also predicts that this new Mini version will sell 6.7 million units through March 2019, although they did not suggest a price at which Nintendo would sell it.

That's not all, as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has become a huge seller in its own right, with over 1.3 million units sold. Nintendo at least admits that they are having supply problems, partly because they didn't expect the Switch to sell this fast. GameStop said last month that the game had an "almost one-to-one attach result" with the Switch hardware, and the title sold to about 91 percent of initial Switch owners in France.

"Nintendo always strives to offer consumers something fun, new and different". NPD's console sales numbers are derived from incomplete, sampled data from retailers, forcing the firm to indirectly estimate sales at big retailers like Walmart.

This week brought good news for Nintendo, as the company announced strong sales figures for its new Nintendo Switch console. Now in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch, if you're able to sustain this drift long enough you'll see purple sparks after the yellow ones.
