Samsung Bixby May Take Time To Reach The US

As reported by Ars Technica, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 features offered a number of impressive upgrades of which the Samsung Bixby was a part. This was a key feature which was set to debut on the new smartphones. "Bixby Voice will be available in the USA on the Galaxy S8 later this spring".

If Samsung wants its customers to use that feature to the full extent, it will need to roll out the Bixby voice assistant update as soon as users get their hands on the new device.

"The key features of Bixby, including Vision, Home and Reminder, will be available with the worldwide launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 device on April 21, 2017". At the S8 launch in March, Samsung execs said they envisioned Bixby as a conduit that will allow users to control their connected devices in the Samsung Connect app with their voice alone.

The Samsung refuse to spoke the reason why the voice assistant feature was being delayed.

British Woman Fatally Stabbed In Jerusalem
A British foreign office spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the tragic death of a British national in Jerusalem ". The attack occurred as Christians marked Good Friday and Muslims held prayers at respective holy sites nearby.

Bixby is expected to become more and more capable in the coming months and years as more and more apps feature voice activation. You can even pair Google's Assistant with the Bixby button. It's said Samsung doesn't consider Bixby's English language performance to be up to the same level as its competence in Korean, according to an anonymous source speaking to The Wall Street Journal.

Samsung added: "When an application becomes Bixby-enabled, Bixby will be able to support nearly every task that the application is capable of performing using the conventional interface (i.e. touch commands)".

SAMSUNG has ditched one of its flagship smartphone's most anticipated features just days ahead of its release date.

Therefore, shipping the Galaxy S8 with a crippled Bixby makes the entire thing more confounding.
