Chelsea's Kante, Hazard in six-man shortlist for PFA award

The PFA Player of the Year shortlist has been announced.

Chelsea stars Hazard and Kante were named this week on the six-man shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award, along with Tottenham's Harry Kane, Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Everton's Romelu Lukaku.

The star player in Leicester City's underdog Premier League win last season, Riyad Mahrez, won the award last year but is out of running this year due to the Foxes' failure to muster any sort of title defence this season.

The England global has had to settle for a place on the shortlist for the PFA Young Player of the Year, where he's joined by Kane, Lukaku, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford and Leroy Sane.

Kante, who was short-listed a year ago for his part in Leicester's remarkable season but did not make the top three, is the bookmakers' favourite. Vote in our polls below.
