Braun, Thames homer, Brewers stop Reds' 4-game win streak

Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs in Wednesday's 9-2 triumph to raise his RBI total to eight as the Reds improved to 7-2 - their best nine-game start since beginning 1990 with nine consecutive victories. Milwaukee has won three straight to move to 5-5.

The Cincinnati Reds look to extend their winning streak to five on Thursday as they begin a 10-game homestand with the first of four contests against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Nelson allowed just five hits over seven innings with no walks and five strikeouts.

Feldman has also made two starts this season and owns a 2.53 ERA and a 1.62 WHIP.

The Brewers put their modest two game winning streak on the line against one of the surprise teams of the young season in the Reds. The Reds will counter with right-hander Scott Feldman. He'll be on the bench to start tonight's game.
