Chinese foreign minister: No winners if Korea war breaks out

Alluding to the Trump administration's decision to send a naval flotilla to the region amid fears that Pyongyang is about to test a nuclear weapon, North Korea accused the United States of introducing "nuclear strategic assets" to the peninsula and of "pushing the situation there to the brink of war".

Washington has warned that its policy of "strategic patience" is over.

The US Vice President, Mike Pence, is due to fly to South Korea on Sunday, in such a show of support for its regional ally.

Nevertheless, it opposes its weapons programme and has called for talks leading to the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.

A conflict over North Korea could break out "at any moment", China's foreign minister Wang Yi said Friday, warning there would be "no winner" in any war as tensions soar with the US.

For that matter, Han offers the same threats that North Korea routinely made over the last eight years, too.

North Korea's military "will as ever courageously counter those who encroach upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK (North Korea) and will always mercilessly foil all the provocative options of the USA with Korean-style toughest counteraction". North Korea's official name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Pyongyang, meanwhile, recently launched a ballistic missile and some experts say it could conduct another nuclear test at virtually anytime.

The warnings came ahead of the birth anniversary celebrations of Kim Il-sung, the founder of North Korea, which are scheduled to be held in Pyongyang this weekend.

Don't expect to see those White House visitor logs any time soon
The White House will keep most of its visitor logs secret, a senior administration official confirmed to NBC News Friday. By closing the site, the White House estimates it will save over $70,000 in taxpayer dollars by 2020.

In a not-so-subtle rebuke to both Kim's missile tests and U.S. Naval ships inching toward the Korean Peninsula, Yi added, "Force can not solve the problem".

A spokesman for the North Korean Foreign Ministry's Institute for Disarmament and Peace issued a statement condemning the United States for its attack on the Syrian airfield.

North Korea said Wednesday it would "hit the USA first" with nuclear artillery if it became aware of an imminent strike.

He says another nuclear test would invite tougher measures from Beijing, possibly including new restrictions on Chinese companies' investments in North Korea and cuts in the number of Chinese tourists allowed to visit.

Tensions in the region have risen with the dispatch of a US aircraft carrier to the area and the deployment of thousands of USA and South Korean troops, tanks and other weaponry for their biggest joint military exercises. "So that's why. It's not the DPRK but the USA and Trump that makes trouble".

The North conducted two such tests past year alone. If they are unable to do so, the US, with its allies, will! United States of America. "It's not hard to see that ever since the United States and Republic of Korea made a decision to deploy THAAD, the situation has not become harmonious but has become more tense", Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang, said in response to a question about the system. The country is "primed and ready", a USA -based watchdog group says, after it analyzed telltale signs of activity at the remote underground test site. Amid rising regional tensions, Pyongyang residents have been preparing for North Korea's mo. "There's no concern that war is going to break out tomorrow", he told Reuters at a "study café" where many job seekers prepare for interviews.

"I think that is what President Trump is getting trying to get the Chinese to do", said Cha.
